Remote villages of India always gifted Ashik with more than good photos. People in Spiti valley live a difficult life in challenging and almost inhabitable terrains. They are so used to the harsh climate and learned how to survive there with generations' hard work and learnings.
 
For the past few decades, climate change has been altering the farming culture and affecting the people's life around there. And for all the good things they have done for Ashik, he always wanted to give something in return and improve their hard life. That was why he chose to offer his work for sale at Rise With Art Gallery. He saw this as an opportunity to contribute even in a more significant way.
